I am a fully qualified Spanish teacher with 11 years of experience, born in Almeria, Spain. I have an extensive experience as a Spanish teacher in Spain with collaborations in the Cervantes Institute of Istanbul and in different educational institutions in Turkey and England.

I have extensive experience in teaching Spanish to foreigners (Erasmus, private individuals and immigrants), especially Turkish students. I always work with a communicative approach and tasks. It is with this experience that I assist my students with the following:

. Understanding the cultural differences abroad, especially in business/formal, work environments and situations.

. Providing the grammar and lexical content they will need to speak with accuracy and fluency (in real-life situations).

. Assisting them in developing confidence and ability to express themselves fully in Spanish with colleagues and clients.

. Providing extra support to improve their written communication.

My teaching methods are both effective and entertaining.  The student is involved in deciding what he wants and needs to learn, actively participating in the learning process. This also means that each session is unique and specifically tailored to the individual student's requirements. Boredom is not allowed!

I am certified with an M.A. degree in teacher training and M.A. degree in Applied Linguistics-Teaching Spanish from Jaén University in 2014 and currently doing my PhD. studies with the Department of Spanish Philology of the University of Jaén, my thesis is about the morphological derivation of adjectives and their application in the teaching of the Spanish language. Also, I hold the Examiner certificates for the Spanish Diploma as a Foreign Language (DELE) level A1-A2, B1-B2 and C1-C2 from Cervantes Institute.
